Hello! We are glad to have you visit our site! We live on a ranch with our 2-year-old daughter Jayda. We ranch in the very southwest corner of North Dakota, approximately 15 miles south of Bowman and four miles from the South Dakota border. We currently run black angus cattle and have been working in partnership with my parents, Lowell and Jan Faris.
We train our own horses to perform in the arena and work out on the ranch. Right now we have several horses in calf roping and barrel racing training. We believe that foundation is key for a successful all-around horse. All of our horses are very well broke before any event training is started. Chad’s parents, Gene and Sandy Miller, currently are the founders of Global Equine Academy, the only accredited on-line equine school. Check the Links page for more information.
Chad and I currently compete in amateur and professional rodeos in our respective events. Chad has won over 25 championship saddles in Little Britches, high school, college, and amateur ranks as well as being one of the top Badlands Circuit tie down ropers. I myself have also had success ranging from play-days, high school, college and amateur rodeos. I am currently running and winning on a horse that I trained as well.
