Media Release

The 5^th Annual Twin Butte Barrel Series was held at the Dakota Winds Arena May 16^th, 20^th, and 27^th. Over 43 barrel racers from the tri-state area come to town to compete for money and prizes. Over $4200 was paid out over the three days of competition as well as prizes for places 1^st through 3^rd in the four divisions.

 A BIG thank you to all of you who took time out to help with the barrel race and made it one of the best run races around; Logan Seifert, Zach Roth, Lowell Faris, Wendy Stuber, and Barb Williams. We have comments every year on how well of a race we run and it couldn’t be possible without you all! Thank you to the Bowman Youth Rodeo Club for the concessions, Brian Fisher for the speaker system, West Plains Implement for the use of a tractor, and the Bowman Fire Department for the watering of the arena.
